It took two tries and a last ditch digital tweak to get down onto canvas close to what was in my perfectionist head. Titled "Hard Night's First Light", Rosebud - like most of us, an irrepressible Hope Junkie--is chasing just that after a night of unthinkable awfulness. The original title was "2020". —bb
